We have had a great first day here at Hartselle! We headed to our worksite in Athens as a whole group. This year is unique in the fact that all family groups are on the same worksite. We are working on Louise Beers home, assisting with tornado relief work. Today included ripping out old insulation, starting to put on siding, picking up debris around the house, and many other jobs. There was a lot of pitching in and helping each other...whether it was holding a latter or reminding each other to get water to hydrate on these 90 degree days. We are blessed this year with enjoying lunch on the grill each day since we are all on the same worksite. Another part of this Mission Trip is that each family group is in charge of a night of worship. Tonight we were blessed to have "Resto Mod" lead our worship with the them of "Rest". Please pray that we will reach hearts for Jesus, both in the community and in our own group, whether it's when we are fellowshipping around camp or on the worksite and that hearts would be changed as we wrestle with this thought of who Jesus is to each of us and what HE has done and wants to do in our lives.
