Car Wash

Hello Church Family and Friends! Mission trip is just a couple days away and I know we are all looking forward to helping those in need in Hartselle, AL. I can't wait to see how God is going to shine through us while we are down there.

Before I get to the reason for this post, I want to thank everyone for their continued prayers for everyone on the mission team and for those in Hartselle. We appreciate them and ask that you continue to pray for us while we are away.

Each year for mission trip we try to do some type of fundraiser to help offset the cost of the trip. We've done several different fundraisers over the years, but the one we always do is a car wash. This year wasn't any different.

Tom Holdway was kind enough to let us use the Burger King parking lot again this year. We were very grateful to have shade! We had a great turn-out again this year. There was a constant line of cars ready to get washed for several hours! We made just under our goal of raising $1,000, thanks to the generous donations from all those that came out.

Welcome to our mission trip blog! Whether you are going on the mission trip or supporting us from home, this website will be a tool to keep you connected to all the happenings both leading up to the 2011 Mission Trip to Hartselle, Alabama and as we are there serving.

In order to remain updated as new posts are added to the blog, take a minute to input your email address in the box to the right of the page.  Follow the steps below in order to successfully add your email:

6.  Click on the link in the email.
7.  A site will pop up letting you know your subscription is confirmed.  You will now receive an email each time the blog is updated!
